i was just looking up an old friend from my gainesville days, randy batistta, when i came across your note and photo about him. did you ever hear from him in the end? i have been wondering how he and laurie are. i was sorry to hear that scruphie died, but i guess its been a lot of years since i was in fla (1979). thanks for the picture it made me smile…

Unfortunately, I have not heard from Randy, Laurie, or Michelle since posting that picture. I do know from talking to Randy in the late 1990s that he and Laurie broke up some time before. I think Laurie is living in the Jacksonville area now.
