A speaker now is making a pitch that evolution degrades self-worth of children, therefore it shouldn’t be taught as given in the standards.

Next.. Fossil records not complete, no half-man, half-ape. Past teaching of things that weren’t right. Teaching kids that they are due to just chance. 2nd law objections, energy would have run out years ago. The worldview that created this nation… cites declaration of independence. Why are we not saying that evolution is a theory, as ID is a theory?

FL BOE is looking at outside influences like Singapore and France, and not listening to Florida citizens. Teach evolution and antievolution, too. One-sided! Science changes and ideas are discredited. Science teacher. Objects to comparison to other countries. Says science community hasn’t substantiated evolution. Evolution, IDC, panspermia! Should all be discussed.
