That is a better expression of it, and the next time I’m not putting together a post at 4 in the morning I might come closer to that.

I would have said, “… the fact that evolution occurs is quite secure.” (With the understanding that I mean “has occurred, continues to occur, and will occur whenever there is life as we know it.”)

Its almost as if he’s making fun of his own readers, insulting their intelligence by providing a self-refuting link he knows they’ll never bother reading.

And he [Stephen Barr] offers this stereotypical complaint, to which ID proponents have responded ad nauseam:

Yes, we point out that ID relies upon the false dilemma that, if science can’t explain it, then ‘god did it.’

And to the point of provoking nausea, they try to weasel around their lack of evidence for ID, and for their illogic. I’m just surprised that Richards would refer to how sickening such nonsense is, especially in its repetition (and rarely on forums where a free response is allowed).
