		<description>LATEX is very powerful.  For complex mathematical equations, it is terrific.  A lot of my clients use LATEX for their journal articles, for the reasons you&#039;ve cited.  

One thing I have found is that if you have a document written in LATEX, it is a pain to convert it to a word processing format.  I&#039;ve usually ended up OCRing a printout, and then editing from there.</description>
