We have had to make the same kind of decision for a cat and will probably have to do it again for our other cats in the future, so we have a very good idea of what you and Diane are experiencing. I remember very well what it was like: devastating. I’m so sorry you had to let Farli go, but you could not allow her to suffer. My condolences.

We recently had to let go of our 10 yr old Samoyed… so we know something of the pain you are feeling. Condolences to you and your family. It does get better.

Those are, I think, mostly titles.

CD = Companion Dog (obedience)
RN = Rally Novice (obedience)
JH = Junior Hunter
OA = Open Agility
OAJ = Open Jumper with Weaves
TF-1 = Top Flight 1 (U-FLI)
ONYX = Flyball 25,000 career points
UTP3 = Utility Test Preparatory Prize 3 (NAVHDA)
TDI = Therapy Dog International

I’ll have to ask Diane about the others. [Done.]

Farli did not have puppies. We spayed her when we found out that she had hip dysplasia.

Condolances on your loss Wes. Always tough to lose the non-human members of the family too.

What are all the acronyms after her name? CD, RN, JH, OA, OAJ, TF1, ONYX, UTP3, TDI. Are these titles or heriditary indicators? Did she have any puppies?
